Five Element Breathing Exercise
Begin by sitting in a quite, comfortable place (Chair or Floor) with the spine straight. Rest hands comfortably on the thighs. Close or open your eyes, whichever feels more comfortable. Feel your body sinking toward the floor. Tune into your breath. Allow whatever negative emotion (hurt, pain, anger, frustration, fatigue, etc.) you are feeling to gently melt off of your aura (that energy field that surrounds your body). Stay with this, using your breath, until it feels complete or there is no longer a sense of something moving off your energy field. Then follow the guidelines below, breathing at least five (5) times at each area.
