Polarity

Polarity Therapy is based on the premise that we are fields of pulsating life energy made up of specific frequencies known as Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth. Each element relates and flows in a balance of positive and negative attractions arising from a neutral center. When our thoughts, emotions and physical body are out of alignment with the energy necessary to meet a life challenge, an energy imbalance results. These imbalances may appear as physical, mental and emotional discomfort or pain yet Polarity teaches us that this pain and discomfort is a signal for us to learn, change and realign our lives.

Coming into Balance

Bodywork
The practitioner's hands assist the flow of healing energy in the client's body. The client rests on a standard treatment table, and the practitioner palpates contact points and patterns in the client's "energy anatomy."

Diet
Polarity Therapy diets promote cleansing and longevity with fresh wholesome foods adapted to individual needs.

Exercise
Polarity Yoga is a series of simple self-help energy techniques that create relaxation and balance.

Self Awareness
Practitioners encourage clients to understand themselves and to view the world from a positive perspective.  Using guided imagery, the practitioner assists the client in clearing old negative patterns of beliefs, emotions, and behavior.  These patterns prevent or block one from experiencing full joy in work, activities and relationships.  The process of looking at all aspects of oneself helps to access true needs, wants and desires.  This will ultimately lead to achieving answers to better physical, mental and spiritual health.

Breathing
Breathing is one of the vital tools we have to maintain the flow of energy in the body.  Breathing into the body restores energy to sites that may be blocked.  It only takes a few minutes, and can bring balance and relaxation to your body. Explore how to balance the 5 elements in the body.

Finding Your Center

Dr. Randolph Stone

“Health is not merely of the body. It is the expression of the body, mind and soul when they are in rhythm with the One Life. It is not merely a question of physical fitness, but rather a result of the soul finding free expression through the mind and body of the individual.”

“We have within us the necessary tools for healing, if we would just encourage their natural functioning, rather than drain our precious resources.”
